Learn to Sail

Learn to Sail follows the US Sailing Small Boat Certification curriculum, Students are taught everything they need to know to comfortably and safely take out one of our 420s. We will cover rigging, sailing upwind, sailing downwind, man overboard procedure, capsize recovery, and general boat handling skills. The course will take between six to eight weeks. Once completed, students receive keys to the sail shed and access to the sailing equipment. No previous sailing skills or knowledge is necessary to take part in Learn to Sail. Learn to Sail is a very affordable way to become comfortable on a boat, especially compared to other schools!
